This workshop will focus on the 21st Century preteen and teenager in school. How do we connect with this young adult? Often giving them responsibilities can result in a mixed bag of outcomes.  Come to this workshop to better understand today's teenager. Gain new information regarding what brain research is telling us about accessing this age group in a learning environment. Consider and discuss differentiating for students with a variety of diagnoses, such as ADHD and Autism, in an inclusive middle school or high school classroom environment. Take away ideas to modify, adapt and accommodate to help them access not only their curriculum but gain self-regulation skills and better understanding of how they learn.
