Please join New Hampshire Sea Grant for an information session on Thursday, December 6 at 5 p.m. in Rye, NH related to the Sea Granted-funded aquaculture research project – the AquaFort – that involves building and operating a new integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA) platform to expand offshore aquaculture capacity for steelhead trout, blue mussels, dulse, and sugar kelp.

The AquaFort will also be used to train participating local and regional fishermen (NH, ME, MA, CT, RI) and others with an expressed interest in learning more about possibilities and opportunities in aquaculture. We have begun the initial phases of the project, which includes reaching out to our colleagues and recruiting potential participants.

Please note:

Space is limited, and this information session is geared towards fishermen and aquaculturists who could be potential participants in the project.

Registration is requested in order to attend this free information session.
