This program features a hands-on introduction to the philosophy and methodology of Lean process improvement. Going beyond the introductory phase, participants apply Lean techniques to an actual work process and by the conclusion of the class teams will have documented the current state process, completed data sheets, built out the future state process, constructed an implementation plan and are selling to the sponsor(s) on day 4. The 4-day effort prepares the project team to sell the improvements to project sponsor(s) on day 4.
The class is a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on project work.
You may attend as a group by bringing an actual project to class or individually as ‘Fresh Eyes’ on another project.
