The 2018 UNH Elect Her committee is excited to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2018 Elect Her – UNH Training. Research shows that engaging women in politics in college is key to increasing the number of women in public office. More than 56% of Congresswomen got their start in student government. Elect Her addresses the need to expand the pipeline to women running for office.
Elect Her is a one-day, 4.5 hour training. Participants will practice hands-on campaign skills, hear from inspiring local speakers, and discuss research on women in government. The Elect Her training proves to create change and leave a lasting impact with participants as 90% of the 2016 participants who ran for student government president won, and 100% of participants reported that they would recommend Elect Her to a friend!
When: Saturday March 3rd, 2018 @ 10:30-3:00 p.m.
