The College of Liberal Arts at the University of New Hampshire is co-sponsoring the virtual event on African American genealogy. This event, "Finding Our Roots: Researching Black History & Genealogy," will be held on June 17, 2021 from 10:00am - 2:30pm ET. Divided into four linked workshops, public historians and librarians will talk about the tools and research techniques for African American genealogy as well as share stories that may very well inspire your own journey into the archives. You can read more here. This event is free and open to UNH students, faculty, and staff. Registration is required, however. To register, please contact Gina Bowker at gina@blackheritagetrailnh.org.
