Featuring Black women feminist scientists talking about their forthcoming books. Chanda Prescod-Weinstein is a UNH assistant professor of physics and core faculty in the Women's and Gender Studies Department. Her book is "The Disordered Cosmos: A Journey into Dark Matter, Spacetime, and Dreams Deferred." Katherine McKittrick is professor in gender studies and the graduate program in cultural studies at Queen's University. Her book is "Dear Science and Other Stories." The event will be moderated by Kabria Baumgartner, associate professor of English and American studies and COLA faculty fellow for equity and inclusion. Copies of either Prescod-Weinstein's or McKittrick's book will be available for free to the first 30 students to register for the event. Students who receive the free books must post about the event and the book on social media, tagging @UNHCOLA and @UNHfeminists and the author of the book.
