Abstract: NSF’s MRI program assists institutions with
acquisition or development of major research instrumentation generally too
costly or inappropriate for support through other NSF programs. MRI awards are
intended to increase access to shared (intra- or inter-organizational)
scientific and engineering instruments for research and research training. Instrumentation awards range from $100,000 -
$4 million. UNH’s Research Development
Office and the University Instrumentation Center offer support to faculty
groups interested in applying for MRI awards.
The session in June provides detailed information about this MRI program
and the guidelines for UNH’s Limited Submission Programs pre-application
process.
