April 15 Local Listens Roundtable: Social Connection in a Time of Social Distancing

At New Hampshire Listens, our mission is to help New Hampshire residents talk and work together to create communities that work for everyone. If you are trying to figure out how to contribute in your local community during these next several weeks, we hope the following Local Listens Roundtables on Zoom will help spur your thinking. Join us to make a plan for staying connected, addressing bias, and building community.

Our April 15 Local Listens Roundtable will take place online. Join this Local Listens Roundtable for tips on hosting online spaces for connecting with neighbors and people in your community. Everything from meetings of decision makers and civic collaborators to a space for neighbors to check in, share information, and keep in touch while in varying levels of quarantine. Shared, synchronous online space can help reduce misinformation and spur sense making and problem solving. We’ll share adaptable outlines and tips for hosting.

All of these trainings are free and can be participated in over the phone or through your computer using the free Zoom software. You'll want to download and test the Zoom software prior to the event. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact Michele Holt-ShannonRegister Here
