Anthropology Club invites you to be a part of our exploration through a wide range of disciplines within the study of anthropology. Anthropology is broadly defined, in the most general sense, as the "study of humanity: our physical characteristics as animals, and our unique nonbiological characteristics", such as our culture and society (Archaeology Essentials, 2015).

Anthropology Club wishes to create a comfortable environment for all who share a passion for anthropology and wish to learn more, promote enthusiasm and success in the study of anthropology, foster an academic peer group among scholars to share ideas and experiences, and help prepare students for post-graduation trajectories/plans.

Our weekly meetings hold exciting information on recent news, student research/experience, Anthropology professor's research/experience, debates within the field, career advice, and event planning throughout the semester with a focus on public outreach.

Quote from Margaret Mead "Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
