Hot, Hungry Planet: How will the planet’s scarce resources keep up?

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17 at 6 P.M.

Journalist Lisa Palmer has traveled the world documenting the cutting-edge innovations of people on the front lines of fighting the food gap. She will share the story of the epic journey to solve the imperfect relationship between two of our planet’s greatest challenges: climate change and global hunger, as chronicled in her new book, Hot, Hungry Planet.

The Global Tipping Points series returns to UNH Manchester this fall, bringing in experts to examine global challenges from a local level. Entitled "Think Globally and Act Locally," this year's series centers on issues surrounding immigration, climate change and the opioid epidemic.

Global Tipping Points is presented in partnership with the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire and advanced registration is encouraged. All events are free and open to the public, and are held in room 201 at UNH Manchester (directions).
