A Foundation CEO Reveals What You Need to Know to Win Foundation Grants

Join us to hear Foundation CEO Martin Teitel reveal the secrets of winning grants from foundations.  Author of the newly released book, The Ultimate Insider’s Guide to Winning Foundation Grants, Teitel knows the ins and outs, preferred approaches and red flags when seeking funding from foundations. In this session, he’ll take you behind the scenes, explaining exactly what foundation insiders look for in proposals, exposing myths, and offering dozens of do’s and don’ts when developing your proposal.

Martin Teitel has worked for non-profits and charitable foundations for more than 40 years, from coast to coast and around the world, including a 12-year stint at CEO of the Cedar Tree Foundation in Boston.  Teitel has a Ph.D. in philosophy from the Union Institute in Cincinnati, and a master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University.  He is a Field Education Supervisor for the Harvard Divinity School. The Ultimate Insider’s Guide to Winning Foundation Grants, published in 2012, is his fifth book.
