UNH’s Faculty Research Excellence Seminar Series continues with guest speaker Dr. Ann Rivet, Associate Professor at Teachers College Columbia University, presenting current research on scientific reasoning, learning progressions, and assessment models that underlie new science education reforms embodied in the recently-released Next Generation Science Standards. She will address implications for what and how science is taught, learned, and assessed  throughout the K-12 learning trajectory.   Dr. Rivet will be joined by discussants/panelists Eleanor Abrams, UNH Professor of Science Education; Jade Caines, UNH Assistant Professor of Education; and a local practitioner.
