. The walk begins and ends at the NH Hospital in Concord (soccer fields on South Fruit St.) Festivities and registration begins at 9:00 am; walk begins at 10:30 am.
What is Mental Illness Awareness Week (MIAW)?
MIAW is an annual observance sponsored by the National Alliance on Mental Illness to focus attention on the high incidence of mental illness in America. The purpose of the observance is to educate the public and reduce the stigma that surrounds mental illness.

annual celebration honoring National Mental Illness Awareness Week. This event was coordinated by social work graduate students enrolled in the course, Human Behavior and the Social Environment III (HBSE III).
