Prof. Heffernan is the author of two books on Wordsworth, has had his lectures on James Joyce distributed on cd and dvd, and has written extensively on connections between words and images (specifically on Beardsley, Hockney, Alberti, and Milton)---most recently in Cultivating Picturacy: Visual Art and Verbal Interventions (2006).
The subject of this lecture, Peter Milton, has been called "a major force in the printmaking world."
The lecture is sponsored by the Dept. of Art and Art History with assistance from the English Dept. Parking is available in Lot C.
